My work is influenced by Pop Art,Fine Art,Graffiti and Modern Urban Expressionism.

Modern Expressionism feeds from the roots of Abstract Expressionism and German Expressionism, only it is combined with present day media, & urban culture!

This style is better described when an artist creates their art work by merging objects, images, and subject matter directly with their “emotions…”

It is accomplish with use of lateral and abstract emphasis on colour, texture, unnatural depth, exaggeration and modified surrounding imagery.

More recently I have been enjoying working on my new body of work “People” which explore contemporary portraiture

What contemporary portraiture means to you ?I was asked...

Capturing the inner essence of the subject,what I believe to be the accurate visual representation of him or her.From my point of view and of course with the use of my mediums of choice,acrylic,spray paint,and resin.

The finish is of a high gloss,very contemporary and always with that urban edge.

Every person I choose to paint I have carefully studied,researched,read about and admire qualities about them,wherever it is the spirit of adventure,talent,dedication,bravery,to name a few and ultimately I found them very inspirational.
